Collection: Cookies
Where the policy applies
This policy applies to trustmade.dk and mit.trustmade.dk - It covers cookies and similar technologies that store information on or access information from your device, for example local storage and pixels. Trustmade ApS, CVR 40320458, Helsingørvej 4, 7100 Vejle, is responsible for our use of these technologies. Contact: kontakt@trustmade.dk and +45 69 16 41 64.
Necessary and optional technologies
Technically necessary technologies may be used without consent when they are strictly necessary for communication or to provide a service you have explicitly requested. This may include features for logging in, secure sessions, and storing your cookie choices. They must not be extended to statistics or marketing without the necessary consent.
Statistics are used to understand visits and use of the services. Marketing is used, for example, to measure campaigns and target ads. These optional technologies are only activated after your prior consent to the relevant purpose. Ordinary use of the website does not constitute consent.
Google Analytics and Meta/Facebook pixels must, if used, be included in the specific overview and managed by the relevant consent choices. Statistics and marketing must be selectable separately. A payment provider's cookies are assessed based on their specific purpose; the entire provider's use of cookies is not automatically necessary.
Your choice and withdrawal
You must have a clear option to reject optional technologies and continue using the features that do not require them. Consent choices must not be pre-ticked. We store the necessary documentation of your choice and request new consent when required, for example for new purposes.
You can change or withdraw your consent as easily as you gave it, via "Cookie Settings". Withdrawal stops future optional storage and access. We handle existing identifiers to the extent that we can, and you can also delete cookies in your browser. Browser deletion does not replace our obligation to respect your choice.
How we transfer personal information
Under certain circumstances, we may transfer your personal information to third parties for purposes related to contract performance, legitimate purposes, and other reasons in accordance with this personal data protection policy. Such circumstances may include:
- With suppliers or other third parties that perform services on our behalf (e.g., IT administration, payment processing, data analysis, customer support, cloud storage, preparation, and shipping).
- With business and marketing partners to provide services and advertise to you. Our business and marketing partners will use your information in accordance with their own personal data protection notices.
- When you direct, request, or otherwise consent to us transferring certain information to third parties, for example to send you products, or through your use of social media widgets or login integrations with your consent.
- With our affiliates or otherwise within our corporate group, within our legitimate interest in conducting a successful business.
- In connection with a business transaction, e.g., a merger or bankruptcy, to comply with all applicable legal obligations (including responding to summons, search warrants, and similar requests), to enforce any applicable terms of service, and to protect or defend the services, our rights, and the rights of our users or others.
We transfer the following categories of personal information and sensitive personal information about users for the purposes stated above in “How we collect and use your personal information” and “How we transfer personal information”:

Third-party websites and links
Our website may contain links to websites or other online platforms operated by third parties. If you follow links to websites that are not affiliated with or controlled by us, you must review their personal data protection policies and other terms and conditions. We do not warrant and are not responsible for the data protection or security of such websites, including the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of information found on these websites. Information you provide in public or semi-public locations, including information you share on third-party social networking platforms, may also be viewed by other users of the services and/or users of these third-party platforms without limitations as to our or a third party's use of it. Our inclusion of such links does not in itself constitute an endorsement of the content on such platforms or of their owners or operators, except as stated on the services.
Children's data
The services are not intended to be used by children, and we do not knowingly collect any personal information about children. If you are a parent or guardian of a child who has provided us with their personal information, you can contact us using the contact information below to request that it be deleted.

Security and storage of your information
Please note that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee “absolute security.“ Furthermore, all information you send to us may not be secure while it is in transit. We recommend that you do not use insecure channels to transmit sensitive or confidential information to us.
How long we store your personal information depends on various factors, e.g., whether we need the information to maintain your account, provide the services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce other applicable contracts and policies.
Personal information and embedded widgets
Processing of personal information for consent-based statistics and marketing is based on GDPR Article 6(1)(a). Necessary operations and security may, depending on the activity, be based on Article 6(1)(b) or (f). The privacy policy describes recipients, transfers, and your rights.
An opt-out must not be bypassed through other technologies for the same optional purpose. Embedded Trustmade widgets must be able to be used in a way that respects the choices of visitors to the website where the widget is displayed. Responsibility and data sharing for the specific widget must be clarified with the website owner.
